A local guide will lead you to the site of one of the most harrowing battles in British history – the 1745 Jacobite Rising. Stand on the windswept moor where the Jacobites made their final stand, admire artifacts from the battle, and experience the Battle of Culloden in the visitor center’s interactive display. Visit nearby pre-historic Clava Cairns, a well-preserved Bronze Age cemetery complex of passage graves, ring cairns, kerb cairns and standing stones in a beautiful setting.
